Why Choose the Tec Vanlife Modular Roof Rack?

Our roof rack stands out for its superior strength, lightness, and versatility:

• Unmatched Durability: Crafted from high-pressure molded aluminum extrusions, this rack system delivers exceptional load-bearing capacity and maintains structural integrity under challenging conditions. Unlike conventional bent aluminum racks, our single-piece aluminum profiles eliminate weak points, ensuring long-lasting performance.
• Enhanced Versatility: Crossbars can be repositioned to work around roof accessories, providing maximum customization for your van setup.
• Aerodynamic Efficiency: The gap between the fairing and van body improves airflow, reducing drag and noise while driving, and enhances cooling under solar panels when parked.
• Lightweight Design: Extruded aluminum sidewalls reduce weight while maintaining strength, optimizing fuel efficiency and handling.

How It’s Made

Engineered for strength and functionality, our proprietary aluminum extrusion process creates a uniform, robust profile that traditional bent aluminum cannot match. Laser-cut openings in the sidewalls reduce weight and improve airflow, ensuring optimal performance for vanlife adventures.

Additional Features:

• Mounting Awnings: Compatible with Fiamma awnings, though additional holes may need to be drilled for installation.
• Roof Rails Required: Factory roof rails are necessary for installation. If your van does not have them, you can purchase the rails with the roof rack at a combo price.
• Custom Decking System: Pair with our decking system for walk-on panels and secure gear mounting.

Important Note:

• Regular inspections and hardware tightening are recommended to ensure long-term reliability.
• Always adhere to your vehicle manufacturer’s maximum load limits.
• Roof rails are required to install this roof rack. If your van does not come with factory roof rails, you can purchase the roof rails together with the roof rack at a combo price.

Elevate Your Vanlife Experience

Experience the perfect balance of strength, lightness, and versatility with the Tec Vanlife Modular Roof Rack. Whether you’re mounting solar panels, carrying cargo, or optimizing your van’s roof space, this rack is designed to excel.

WARNING!

Ignoring the following warnings may result in the rack detaching from the vehicle, leading to serious injury or death.

• Ensure you do not exceed the maximum load limit specified by the vehicle manufacturer and use all available attachment points on the van roof.
• Inspect and tighten all hardware after the first 100 miles and every 600 miles thereafter.
• Check the overall integrity of the rack every 600 miles or monthly, whichever occurs first.
• If you are unsure, submit rack plans or photos to info@tecvan.co for evaluation before final installation or use.
• The van owner and/or installer assumes all risks associated with rooftop-mounted items and/or components.
