After one too many surf trips with boards face-down in the dirt or jammed inside the van, it hit me — there had to be a better way. Beach camping meant sand everywhere and expensive, fragile boards leaning against bumpers, in the dirt, or in the way - getting dinged, sand in the wax, or constantly moved around.

The SRF-CDY (Surf Caddy) Magnetic Rack was born from those weekends — a clean, quick, drill-free way to hang boards safely outside the rig. We needed it strong, fast to mount, and easy to stash. After testing up and down the California coast, we landed on a rack that works as hard as you do: sturdy, simple, and ready in seconds.

How much weight can it hold?
Each rack pair can securely hold up to 100 lbs when properly mounted on a clean steel surface.
What vehicles does it work with?
It works with any steel-bodied vehicle, including Sprinter, Transit, and ProMaster vans. Always double-check your vehicle with a magnet before ordering — newer F-150s and similar aluminum-bodied vehicles will not work.
What size boards fit?
The hook opening is 4 inches wide, making it ideal for most surfboards and many SUPs (as long as they’re under 4" thick).
Will it damage my vehicle?
The magnets are rubber-coated to protect your paint. However, it’s important that both the magnets and vehicle surface are clean and free of sand or debris before mounting. Dirt or grit between surfaces could cause minor scratches.
Can I drive with the Magnetic Surfboard Rack attached?
No — it’s intended to be used on parked vehicle only
Can it hold shortboards too?
Yes! You can tilt the hook at an angle for a vertical shortboard lean or used as a pair of racks to hold the board horizontally.

We ship from warehouses across the U.S., so your order comes from the location closest to you for the fastest delivery, but our main facility is in Huntington Beach, CA.

All orders ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx — whichever provides the quickest service to your area.
